The Kingdom of Natural Giants (KONG), is a name for an artistic frequency. A shared state artists recognize when things start to click. Instinct takes over. Decisions come faster. The work moves forward without getting stuck in doubt. You can’t force it and you can’t stay there long, but when you’re tuned into it, the work feels alive. The word KONG appears in each of these four paintings as a simple marker of that frequency, pointing to moments where the work was made from that place.
